Thermography

Thermography is not a printing process in itself, but rather a system that can be used with any wet ink printing process. Once the image is printed, the paper is coated with a thermographic resin dust that sticks to the wet ink. The excess resin is then blown off or vacuumed off the paper before the resin is set using a heater. This process creates a raised ink that is popular for business cards and letterhead.
